1. Can I use my toothbrush in the shower?
Your Kyoui Toothbrush was designed to be 100% waterproof, you can brush your teeth under the shower with serenity or clean your toothbrush handle. It will not damage your device.
2. When to charge my toothbrush?
When you receive your Kyoui Sonic Toothbrush, you will need to charge it for 24h before using it for the first time. Once it is fully charged, you can charge when it runs out of battery (red light blinks).
3. My toothbrush is not working. What can I do?
If your toothbrush is not working, charge it for 24h. If it is still not working after 24h of charge. Please contact our warranty claim team so they could assist you with your non working device.
4. My toothbrush blinks in red. What does it mean?
When your toothbrush is showing a red indicator light, it means that your toothbrush is running low on battery and we recommend you to charge it.
5. How long does the toothbrush battery last?
Your toothbrush battery can last for up to 30 days. You can travel without having to carry your charger around.
6. I am travelling soon, is my toothbrush allowed in my carry on?
Yes, the battery of your Kyoui Toothbrush is Ni-MH so it is allowed in your carry on.
7. How often do I need to change my brush heads?
We recommend changing your brush heads every 3 months and subscribing to your brush heads replacement, so you will not forget to change it.
8. I do not know how to change my brush heads.
9. What are the differences between the 3 brush heads?
Kyoui Oral Care designed 3 different brush heads to make sure that your oral hygiene is at its best.
We also created different colors to help you making the difference.
Use the Pick head once a week on soft mode to clean your gum line and the back of your teeth.
Cleaning head -> White Head
The cleaning head has stronger bristles. It is wavy to contour the teeth. Use the cleaning head in the morning time or twice a day to clean your teeth and tongue.
Perio head -> Black head
The perio head is softer. It is perfect is you have sensitive gums. Use the perio head at night time to polish your teeth and massage your gums.
10. Why is my toothbrush curved?
Kyoui Oral care own a patent for designing a 45°angle on your toothbrush. The angle enables a better brushing experience and makes it easier to follow the dentists’ recommended brushing motion (circles or up-and-down). And, with the angle you can reach all areas of your mouth that the straight toothbrush cannot, especially the back of the mouth.
11. What are the different settings?
Your Kyoui Sonic Toothbrush has 3 different modes.
Normal mode -> For the ones who are used to electronic toothbrushes. 31000 sonic pulse/min.
Soft mode -> For the ones who are new with the use of electronic toothbrushes and the ones who have sensitive gums or teeth. For the use of the Pick Head. 28000 sonic pulse/min.
- Pulse mode -> To give your gums a massage.
12. I just received my toothbrush and I am not sure how to use it.

13. Why is my toothbrush stopping and restarting again?
Your toothbrush is stopping for a micro-second in your brushing routine because we divided the mouth in 4 zones (Top right/ top left/ bottom right/ bottom left).
Each zone represents 30 seconds for a total of 2mins. Your toothbrush will automatically stop after 2 mins, it is the recommended brushing time by dental professionals. If you desire to brush your teeth for a longer time you could turn it on again.
14. Can I use my toothbrush with my braces?
Yes! Our bristles are soft and safe for your braces. You can use the Pick Head to help you remove food and plaque between your braces.
15. Do I have a warranty with my recent purchase?
Yes, Kyoui Sonic Toothbrush comes with a 2-year warranty. When you receive your toothbrush, you need to register your new device. Please be aware that the warranty is valid only if you replace your brush heads at least every 6 months.
16. What does EMF-free mean?
EMF stands for Electronic and Magnetic Fields.
It has a negative effect on our health and that is why we are proud to say that our toothbrushes are EMF-Free.
